GRAMS28 is a brand that manufacturers small leather accessories, these include iPhone cases, AirPods cases, Apple watch straps, satchels, laptop bags and backpacks. I first came across whilst browsing on Instagram, with its minimal aesthetic, and being a brand with its roots in Hong Kong, I was instantly a fan from beginning.

The bag features premium and reliable YKK matte black zippers, the zipper themselves are concealed and features a water proofing membrane on the outside that also keeps the zipper hidden and waterproof. The environmentally certified full grain leather exterior also has water proofing properties, making it the perfect bag for all weather use, there no need to worry about potentially getting permanent water spot marks on the leather.
One of my favourite features of the bag is the zipper compartment on the inside face of the bag, I use it to hold a slim wallet and important documents such as my passport and boarding pass when I am travelling.

WHAT CAN IT CARRY?
Besides being stylish, the City 154 Pack is highly practical bag, it’s perfect for running errands around town or as a day bag during your travels, its great for zipping through the airports.
The City 154 pack can carry your everyday carry, compact cameras like Sony ZV1 or Fujifilm X100v, 11" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard, Phone, wallet, AirPods, AirTag, and other essentials.
I especially love the vast amount of pockets and compartments which are great for keeping your carry goods organised and prevent them from moving around inside the bag. The compartments simply make sense, there is a place for your phone, your cables, air-pods, airtag, sanitiser sprays etc. Several of the compartments also has zippers for added security.
The tablet sleeve inside the main compartment is a great size and will hold an 11” iPad with its case and keyboard. Thicker tablets will fit inside there with ease whilst being protected from potential scratches from other items kept inside your bag.
There is a secondary compartment which is half the depth of the main compartment is perfect for storing your sunglasses with its soft lining, it has a magnet also to keep things inside secure, yet providing quick and easy access.

BEAUTIFUL IMPERFECTIONS.
The leather of their products is of the the finest grade and full-grain leather. The difference is in its outstanding appearance, feel, and durability. Due to full-grain leather coming from the top layer of the hide, it has been exposed to the elements, is strong and it tells its own unique story. Speaking of the leather with time, it will develop its own unique patina, a glossy sheen and natural darkening is achieved through age, use, and exposure to sunlight.
Speaking of unique, one of the things that you first notice on GRAMS28 products is a code hot stamped onto their accessories, what may seem as purely aesthetic at first, is actually a very clever way device that acts somewhat like a SKU “stock keeping unit” code for consumers, Ten numbers, divided into three sets, are de-bossed in white on each product. Each set of number corresponds to a different meaning that can be traced back to the origin of each product. It refers to style number, material provider, material type and the makers that make the product. The code reminds me of the ‘barcode’ found on the side of Common Project sneakers which serves a similar purpose.
GRAMS28 gives consumers the power to know exactly what you are buying by breaking down every product to its raw materials and trace back to their origin, so they can understand more than where their products were made.

Your purchased items come packed in a beautifully branded black recycled cardboard box - larger products come with a cotton dust bag, whilst smaller products in a felt pouch, both of which are designed to be re-purposed; they suggest you store your sunglasses or small essentials in the felt pouch. I found it makes a great phone pouch too. We love this!
