Inspired by a deep-rooted connection to nature for nearly 200 years, The Macallan Harmony Collection is an exploration into the world of sustainable packaging. It fuses innovative techniques with materials from the natural world at the end of their life to see them reborn with a renewed purpose.
The debut Harmony I collection celebrated the world of chocolate with Casa Cacao, you may remember the Rich Cacao and Smooth Cacao expression which were personal favourites of mine so far. A year on, the Harmony II collection was released and celebrated the world of Arabica Coffee with Intense Arabica and Smooth Arabica expressions. Now the third iteration and collection looks to nature as its muse in celebrating the lush, fertile lands of Scotland with Amber Meadow and Green Meadow expressions. This ocassion also marks the first time in Macallan history that they have collaborated with a fashion brand (Stella McCartney) to release a collection of lifestyle accessories for enjoying your whiskey.
THE HARMONY COLLECTION AMBER MEADOW
The third release in the Harmony Collection has been created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney to celebrate the lush, fertile lands of Scotland that connect all those who have stood upon them for generations.
This release embraces the re-use of natural materials in its packaging, creating beauty from resources at the end of their natural lives. To mark this deep connection with the land, discarded meadow cuttings have been given new life in this presentation box and bottle labels.

The Harmony Amber Meadow
TOGETHER: A Collection for The Macallan by Stella and Mary McCartney
Introducing a limited-edition Collection of 11 lifestyle pieces designed by the sisters and skilfully realised by master artisans and craftspeople.
The Collection showcases a curated selection of bespoke pieces including handmade glassware in vibrant shades that are coloured using natural minerals, an ombre ceramic flask encased in an apple leather alternative sleeve, a pair of brass ice stamps with meticulously hand-painted ceramic handles using a green and amber ombre colour blend and a brass napkin weight in the shape of an acorn as a tribute to the exceptional oak casks which mature The Macallan whisky.
Stella and Mary’s logo makes its debut across the full range, alongside The Macallan logo. TOGETHER is exclusively sold as a complete set for £10,000. and will be available from December 2023; limited to 300 sets.

Colour: Summer Evening.
Aroma: Rich orange and lemon, honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields.
Palate: Rich oak, lemon, melon, classic scone, almond and green tea.
Finish: Rich, sweet, long and complex.
ABV: 44.2%

HONG KONG Launch event AT LANDMARK
Mr Gumbatron was invited to The Macallan Harmony Collection Experience – Inspired By Nature Launch at Landmark in Hong Kong.
From 18th - 30th October , visitors can step into The Macallan’s pop-up space to experience the world of Amber Meadow from the Harmony Collection. The immersive experience will transport visitors into the Scottish countryside and the River Spey through sight, sound, and smell.
As you move through the installation/popup the space transforms from Green Meadow reminiscent of the rolling landscapes of Speyside into a signature Stella McCartney aesthetic with ombré curtains in bright sunset colours reminiscent of the colours of the Amber Meadow.
Her lifestyle accessories are also on display up and close. Lastly guest will also be seated at the tasting bar to enjoy a dram of the new Amber Meadow expression.
