Atelier JSMP, the Hong Kong-based purveyor of bespoke/made-to-measure wardrobe staples was founded by Jasmin Pang in 2018. JSMP has respectfully gained popularity in the space of only a few years, their high-quality bespoke shirts are often seen worn by the city’s business elites and tastemakers.
Atelier JSMP is located in Central; a stone throws away from the addresses of the many other tailors residing in Hong Kong’s Central district. Right from the moment you step into JSMP’s showroom, you immediately grasp a sense of their detail-oriented philosophy. The showroom is soigné, with an interior design narrative of mostly walnut and wood tones, A curated assortment of current and existing collections line the perimeter of the space hung on beautifully designed clothing racks and hangers engraved in the brands signature. The centerpiece of the Atelier is the In-house workshop, where you can observe the seamstress and tailors at work through a wide aperture of glazing from the showroom floor.
JSMP focuses on “made to measure” garments including shirts, dresses, skirts, jackets, and trousers. Their bespoke shirts are their most popular line and it’s not hard to see why. Contemporary and minimalist cuts are designed for a classic and timeless look. The fabrics used are from the highest quality mills; organza, sand-washed silk, crepe de chine, and spun silk are often selected for lady’s garments, as well as 100% luxury Italian cotton and linen-cotton for the gentleman.
Simply choose one of the existing designs from the showroom or online and then book a fitting appointment. During the fitting session, a member of the team will take your measurements and then tailor the chosen design to your individual size for a perfect fit after taking no less than fourteen individual body measurements.
With a team of talented-house seamstress and tailors (rare in Hong Kong), your tailored shirt or garment is 100% manufactured onsite and will typically be completed within 4-6weeks.
