GENTLEMAN'S SERIES EVENT: SPRING RACING ETIQUETTE WITH JEFF LACK

STYLE ADVICE

On a quiet Tuesday evening in Melbourne, The Gentleman's Collection hosted an evening of wine and fashion at Rhodes and Beckett's Emporium Store.

The evening was hosted by friend and Sydney based professional stylist Jeff Lack with the focus on encouraging men the world over to embrace their inner gentleman. The agenda was surrounding spring racing etiquette and how to dress appropriately for each of the individual days.

Style tips for the week, include:

- Keep it elegant and sophisticated on Derby Day, conform to the Black and White dress code (greys are acceptable), step up your style game with a double breasted jacket or a three piece ensemble.

- Turn it up a notch and really accentuate your personality though your outfit on Melbourne Cup Day. Consider separates and experimenting with bolder colour and textures.

- Let the ladies to really shine on Oaks Day, gentleman to be complimentary. don't steal the spotlight.

- Stakes Day is more relaxed, dress comfortably.

An appreciation of good wine is an essential part of the gentlemanly mix and the Gentleman’s Collection is the perfect choice for the aspiring modern gent. The range consists of five masculine, yet easy drinking wines featuring a handsome Cabernet Sauvignon, a full-bodied Red Blend, a stately Shiraz, a charming Chardonnay and a new Tawny. Each wine is made with a dash of fortified for rounded refinement.
